Paeonia mairei is a species of peony rare in cultivation. It grows in the mountains of the north of Yunnan and the West of Sichuan provinces of China. The plant reaches about 45cm tall and has rose-pink flowers adbout 10cm across, one to each stem. P. mairei blooms in late spring and early summer. [1]
