Storylines
Paige arrived in Knots Landing in 1986 on the MacKenzie's doorstep claiming to be the daughter of Mack.[2] She moved in with MacKenzies and had an affair with her step-brother Michael. It was later discovered by Karen MacKenzie that Paige had fled from her wealthy grandparents and mother Anne by faking her death. Anne then turned up reunite with her daughter and to get Mack back into her life but she failed. Out of spite she told Mack and Paige that Greg Sumner was Paige's real father. However, her true paternity was later confirmed to be Mack. Paige was employed at Lotus Point where she met Peter Hollister and they began a relationship but during an argument, Paige accidentally stabbed Peter and killed him.[2] Paige began to work for Greg where they had an affair and she fell in love with him but Paige was later crushed when Greg married Abby Cunningham.[2] Paige met dirty cop Tom Ryan and their relationship resulted in a marriage proposal. However, on their wedding day, Paige was left at the alter. Unknown to her, Greg had blackmailed Tom to leave Paige.[2] When Paige discovered this, she and Tom briefly rekindled their relationship.[2] Paige later met Pierce Lawton and they worked with Gary Ewing on a tidal energy project. This relationship took a scary turn when Pierce shot Paige and later kidnapped her after she had recovered. During this time, she and Greg fell in and out of love again.[2] A while later, Greg left shares of the Sumner Group to Paige, Karen and Mack (in trust for his daughter Meg), and to his sister Claudia Whittaker. Paige and Claudia often fought over control of the company. Eventually, Claudia sold her shares back to Greg and Mack gave Meg's shares to Paige, giving her majority control of the company.[2] Paige and Greg finally got back together but after a few years they broke up once again when Greg refused to have children and so Paige moved to New York.[2]
