Pakistan Amateur Astronomers Society
The Pakistan Astronomers Society (PAS), is a Pakistani society of amateur astronomers. It serves as one of the portals for astronomy resources and contacts in Pakistan and regularly publishes some of the amateur astronomy activities in the country on its webpage. It serves a basic purpose of encouraging Pakistani youth to share their enthusiasm and experience in astronomy and works in liaison with amateur astronomers in Karachi, Quetta (Mohammad Baqir), Umerkot, Dera Ghazi Khan and many others scattered across Pakistan. PAS is an entirely non-profit, non-government organization. It is currently serving as an open source for sharing and publicizing astronomy related activities by individuals in Pakistan on its website.
