The Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) is the governing body of amateur boxing in Pakistan. It is instrumental in organizing boxing matches in Pakistan. The Pakistan Amateur Boxing Federation (PBF) organises amateur matches. Current president doda khan bhutto has done a lot for boxing in pakistan he belongs to famous political bhutto family of pakistan young and very talented doda khan bhutto orginised 2 major international events in pakistan in 2010 and 2011 where 30 countries particiapated all credit goes to mr bhutto who himself managed it from his own pocket

Pakistan has seen success at amateur level boxing, despite lack of necessary equipment and facilities. They have won medals at the Olympic and Commonwealth Games. Examples include Quetta born Haider Ali who won gold at the 2002 Commonwealth Games at featherweight, and went on to become a professional boxer and Asgher Ali Shah who is a two time Olympian with 13 gold and 10 silver medals at the international level.

In January, a body of professional boxing in Pakistan has been formed. It is named as Pakistan Professional Boxing League. PPBL is a separate body than PBF.
