Palaelodus pledgei is an extinct species of long-legged waterbird, a small palaelodid from the Oligo-Miocene of Australia. It was described from fossil material (a proximal right tarsometatarsus and a distal right tibiotarsus) collected from Lake Palankarinna in the Lake Eyre Basin in north-eastern South Australia.[1]
