Palmetto Historical Park is located in Palmetto, Florida, Manatee County, Florida. It includes a local history museum, cottage museum with antiques and dolls, church, school, post office and the Manatee County Agricultural Museum. The park includes an 1880 Post Office, a schoolhouse with slates for chalk note taking, and pioneer clothing in a cottage. There is also a chapel, Military Museum and the 1914 Carnegie Library. Palmetto Historical Park is operated by the Palmetto Historical Commission, Manatee County Clerk of Circuit Court, the Manatee County Board of County Commission, and the City of Palmetto. It is located in the Palmetto Historic District.
