Palpita illibalis, the inkblot palpita moth, is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Hübner in 1818.[1] It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.[2]
The wingspan is about 25 mm. Adults have been recorded on wing from March to October, with most records from June to August.
