Palung is a ancient market place in Thaha Municipality in Makwanpur District in the Narayani Zone of southern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5,223 people living in 963 individual households.[1]

Palung is a home of Janakalyan Higher Secondary School and Palung multiple campus.
