Panikos Georgiou is the current manager of ENTHOI Lakatamia FC. He is considered to be one of the best Cypriot managers of all time. He is best known for the two years he managed the Cyprus national football team and is remembered for the historical victory against Spain, 3-2.[1] Panikos Georgiou is said to be "the manager of the first half".

Panikos is negotiating the extension of his contract with ENTHOI Lakatamia FC. ENTHOI Lakatamia FC offered a 3-year contract to Panikos Georgiou but he has not responded yet since he wants to see carefully the options he has, as it has become public knowledge that Panikos Georgiou has received offers from 3 different clubs, including an offer from AC Omonia, a Cypriot club from the Cypriot First Division. They seem to be disappointed with the work Takis Lemonis has done so far and are looking to replace him during the summer and Panikos Georgiou is their first choice due to the very good work he has done up to now in Lakatamia.
