Pantufo or Pantufu is a town in the Água Grande District of São Tomé and Príncipe. It is located 5km south from the capital São Tomé. Its population is 1,119 (2008 est.).[1] It is considered the only urban settlement in the country, apart from the capital.[2] The origin of the name is of Angolan origin.
Tourism is the main industry, its location is 6 km south of the São Tomé International Airport.
