Paolo Giglio

Paolo Giglio (January 20, 1927 March 6, 2016) was a Roman Catholic archbishop and diplomat.

Gilgio was born in Valletta, Malta in 1927 to a Roman Catholic family. Ordained to the priesthood in 1952, Giglio was named titular archbishop of Tyndaris in 1986. He then served as nuncio in Nicaragua (1986–1995), Egypt (1995–2002) and Apostolic Delegate to the League of Arab States (2001–2002). Archbishop Giglio retired in 2002 and died in 2016.[1]
