Papilio oxynius is a species of swallowtail butterfly from the genus Papilio that is found in Cuba.[1]

Description

Similar to pelaus but the band of the forewing only indicated; the marginal spots of both wings large.

Biology

Larva on Xanthoxylum. Adults gregarious by day, resting on the trunk and branches.

Ecozone

This species is located in the neotropical ecozone.
