Parade of Homes

The Parade of Homes is a showcase of new homes held annually in several regions throughout the United States. The nation's first home tour organization was established in Minnesota in 1948.[1] In 2011, the Salt Lake Home Builders Association hosted the "UP" House from the Disney/Pixar Movie. Alternatively known as the Tour of Homes in some locales, it is often presented by the local Home Builders Association (HBA) or Building Industry Association (BIA). The Parade of Homes typically showcases high-end designer homes, both new construction and remodeled homes. Showcases can include single-family homes, condominia, duplexes, and town homes. Some locations allow tours for free; other locations require an admission ticket to view the homes. Some locations offer awards for the best homes.
