Its core product lines are PTC Creo (computer-aided design), PTC Windchill (product lifecycle management), PTC Mathcad (engineering calculation), PTC Integrity (application lifecycle management), PTC Servigistics (service lifecycle management), and PTC Arbortext (technical documentation).

Products

PTC has six core product families: Creo, Windchill, Mathcad, Integrity, Servigistics, and Arbortext. The Company's technology is primarily used by discrete manufacturers to design, operate and maintain complex products. PTC's technology is also used to connect products to the Internet for purposes of capturing and analyzing information from them.[2]

PTC Creo

Main articles: PTC Creo, PTC Creo Elements/Pro, Creo Elements/Direct and PTC Creo Elements/View

Suite of 2D and 3D product design software used to create, analyze and view product designs. PTC Creo software was released in June 2011 to replace and supersede PTC’s products formerly known as Pro/ENGINEER, CoCreate, and ProductView.[3]

PTC Windchill

Web-based database software that provides access to product information like MCAD and ECAD data files, process documents and software engineering information.[4]

PTC Mathcad

Engineering calculation software that is used by engineers to solve, document and share the calculations used for product design.[5]

PTC Integrity

The PTC Integrity product provides a set of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Systems Engineering capabilities and consists of the following products:[6]

PTC Servigistics

Service lifecycle management software that is used by manufacturers to understand how service planning, customer service, and analysis of returned product data can improve service value over a product’s life.[7]

PTC Arbortext

Documentation software that helps companies create, manage, and publish technical information.[8]

ThingWorx

A platform for the rapid development of applications designed for a world of smart, connected sensors, devices, and products – or the Internet of Things.[9]

Axeda

A cloud-based service and software for managing connected products and machines and implementing Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.[10][11]
