Technical details

Part of the MerseyForth scheme that comprises eight hydroelectric power stations, the Parangana Power Station is the third station in the scheme. The power station is located below the rock-filled/clay core Parangana Dam which forms Lake Parangana.[2]

The conventional Lemonthyme Power Station, the fourth power station in the MerseyForth scheme, is also located below Parangana Dam.
