Park High School is a high school in Cottage Grove, Minnesota: part of the South Washington County School District 833. The school was opened in 1914. An ice arena was added and attached to the school in 1974. It was later disconnected from the school. In 2010 the high school ice arena, which is next to the school, had construction which added a new entrance and another full sized rink for a high school that was recently erected. In 2011 the building underwent construction which added a lecture hall and a new modern looking entrance. The original mascot was an Indian but then was later changed to the wolfpack in due to the Indian logo being politically incorrect.
Academics
Park High School is an IB world school. The high school offers advanced placement (AP) courses. It also offers 916 courses which can be used for college credits at select locations.
Park High School is a member of the MSHSL.
Athletics
Park has multiple notable rivals that includes Woodbury High School (Minnesota), Hastings High School (Minnesota), East Ridge High School (Minnesota). These rivals vary from sport to sport. Park High School has a wide variety of sports including:
