Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. (Partner) was incorporated in 2007 and is headquartered in Torrance, California. Its main services revolve around environmental and engineering consulting for the commercial real estate industry, including Phase I environmental site assessments, property condition assessments, probable maximum loss reports, construction services, and site mitigation and clean-up.[1] The company currently has two primary subsidiaries: Carbon Partner and Partner Energy.

History

In 2009, Partner acquired two firms that provided similar services: Colorado-based US Reports,[2] and Virginia-based LandAmerica Assessment Corporation.[3] On June 21, 2013 Partner purchased most of the assets of Birdsall Services Group (BSG), and engineering and environmental consulting firm based in New Jersey.[4]

Partner Engineering and Science, In. is a privately owned corporation and Women's Business Enterprise in which the company's principals hold an ownership stake in the company. Partner is headquartered in Los Angeles County in California, and provides services throughout the United States and in parts of Canada and Mexico. Key offices are located in Los Angeles, Irvine, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago, Denver, Charlotte, New Jersey and New York.[5]

Divisions

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. operates in six primary segments: Commercial Due Diligence; Carbon Footprinting; Energy Efficiency Surveys; Construction Services; Site Clean-up/Mitigation and Engineering Design.

Commercial Due Diligence: Providing third-party services including building assessments, environmental site assessments, industrial hygiene, seismic risk assessments, land surveys and survey coordination, and construction disbursement during the due diligence phase of commercial and multifamily property acquisitions and financing.

Carbon Footprinting: Partner Carbon provides services to develop measurement programs and reduction goals that will reduce a business' impact on the environment and lower operating costs via the introduction of “green” technologies.

Energy Efficiency Surveys: Partner Energy works with building owners and users by recommending and implementing fiscally responsible and sustainable energy efficiency measures that reduce energy usage and carbon emissions.

Construction Services: Delivering a range of services in support of construction projects as well as construction lending. Services provided to construction lenders include Construction Budget Reviews, Plan Reviews, and Construction Draw Reviews.

Site Remediation and Clean-up: Remediation engineers and geologists characterize the extent of the contamination and design and implement remedial solution that will take a site to regulatory closure.

Engineering Design: Providing consulting services relating to regulatory compliance, land development engineering, MEP and structural design and surveying.

Partner provides its services to lenders, developers, real estate agents, attorneys, and property buyers and sellers.
