Sample of Poetry
The rampart of glass and mist
A moat with its gaping mouth
Sits on the road-crossing.
In front, behind the tall wall of mist,
All jumbled scenes invite me to go in
But all doors are locked.
Behind me, grass, bees and flowers,
All decked in multi-coloured
Silken shawls, sway in ecstasy.
Fingers of winds write melodies
On pages of the lake.
Branches of lush green trees
Beckon me under their cool and soothing shade.
But if I move anywhere,
My feet are likely to be wounded
By striking against these glass walls.
On the last bend in the road
Having walked on a long and crooked track,
And reaching a sharp bend,
A feeble shadow
Sits on a cold and mute mountain-top,
Wearing his exhaustion.
Resting his head on his palm,
He watches intently
The highway of the sky,
Marked with bloody footsteps:
On one side,
The darkness spreads its wings
And on the other,
The glowing flame
On the horizon
Is being cut moment by moment
By the sharp edge of time,
Falling into the abyss of oblivion.
Many birds of thoughts
Shear the bosom of clouds
To fly through the skies.
I wish that they could find
The secret of existence and no existence.
