Passion of Love (Italian: Passione d'amore) is a 1981 Italian drama film directed by Ettore Scola. Adapted from the novel Fosca by Iginio Ugo Tarchetti, It was entered into the 1981 Cannes Film Festival.[1]
The film served as the basis for Passion, a Broadway musical written in 1994 by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine.
