Patrick Hagan (1880–14 July 1916)[1] was a Scottish professional football forward who played in the Scottish League for Hibernian.[2] He won five pieces of silverware with Irish League club Linfield between 1903 and 1904.[3]

Personal life

Hagan served in the Boer War with the British Army.[4] He was a sergeant in the 11th Battalion Royal Scots during the First World War and was killed,[5] aged 36,[4] on 14 July 1916 during the Battle of the Somme.[6] He is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Pier and Face 6D and 7D.[7]
