Patrick Warren is an American composer, arranger, producer and session pianist / keyboardist, based out of Los Angeles. Patrick has performed and recorded with hundreds of artists including Aimee Mann, Bonnie Raitt, Tom Waits, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Ray LaMontange, Fiona Apple and Lana Del Ray. Warren’s string arrangements have appeared on albums for Eric Clapton, Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow, Chris Issac and his film and TV scoring credits include Pleasantville, Boogie Nights, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Knocked Up, Across the Universe and Sunshine Cleaning.[1] Most recent, Patrick was involved with composer T-Bone Burnett on HBO’s series, True Detective.[2]

Patrick is known for his unique sounds and approach to the Chamberlin which an electro-mechanical keyboard instrument that was a precursor to the Mellotron. Patrick's earlier use of the Chamberlin was with singer-songwriter Michael Penn, who's debut album March was released in 1989 and featured the single "No Myth" which peaked at No.22 on the billboard charts.[3]

In 2011, Warren performed with Bob Dylan at the White House in celebration of music from the civil rights movement.[4]
