Pattikkad is a fast developing junction in Thrissur district of Kerala. It is situated at about 12 km north-east of Thrissur. Pattikad proudly hosts the Centre of H R P F (human rights protection front). This place is just 8 km from Peechi dam a tourist destination. The Kerala Forest Research Institute is situated between Pattikkad and Peechi. The Agricultural University is situated at Vellanikkara near Pattikkad. Around 1400 students are studying in the Govt LP School and Govt High Schhol Pattikad. Panencherry Panchayat Office is in Pattikkad, Panencherry and Peechi Villages are also in Pattikkad. Three banks i.e. the Catholic Syrian Bank, State Bank of Travancore and South Malabar Grameen Bank have their branches with ATM facility available in Pattikkad. Two co-operative banks i.e. Co.operative Bank, Pattikkad and Co-operative Bank, Peechi are also in Pattikkad. NH-47, a six line highway(currently two line, the new six line highway is under construction) passes through Pattikkad. KSRTC and Private Buses are available to Trichur, Palghat and Peechi sides in a frequency of 3 minutes.
