Paul G. Allen Family Foundation

The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation is a private foundation located at in Seattle, Washington. Their mission is to transform individual lives and strengthen communities by fostering innovation, creating knowledge, and promoting social progress.[1] Paul Allen's sister Jody Allen is the co-founder and president of the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation.[2]

Founded by Paul Allen and his sister Jody Allen, the foundation's purpose is "to light up the world with meaningful change, starting close to home and moving around the globe."[3] Since its founding, the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation has invested nearly half of a billion dollars into improving communities throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. The foundation looks for opportunities to fund programs in the Allen family’s areas of interest—the arts, financial empowerment, libraries, education and science and technology—that jumpstart meaningful change.
