Paul Pistore is a voice actor and puppeteer who is also known as Paul John Pistore.

Biography

Movie puppetry and Effects

Paul is a veteran puppeteer and builder, he has worked on major motion pictures such as, Batman Returns, Alien Resurrection, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, Men in Black 2 and many others. As a SPFX artist and animatronics builder and puppeteer/performer, Paul has worked for directors like Steven Spielberg, Tim Burton, Barry Sonnenfeld, Kevin Smith and Tony Scott to name a few. His puppetry and Animatronics work has been seen in films, commercials and television productions in the USA, Europe and Asia. It’s almost a certainty that you have seen Paul’s work on ¬screen at some time.

Performer and creator

His turn as Mister Moose on the critically acclaimed, US children's show, The All New Captain Kangaroo, and spin¬off show, Mister Moose’s Fun Time, earned Paul a Telly Award for excellence inchildren's entertainment, as well as mentions in Daily Variety and TV Guide. Paul went on to win an Omni Award for the 3¬D television show, Apartment51, which he co-¬created and co-starred in. The Fox Family Channel's The Basement Block shows; The Morning Scramble and The Weekend Chill featured Paul’s puppetry and voice talents as the popular character D. Jam Germ. He also wrote and directed comedy segments for the network. Paul portrayed the cute and plucky alien sidekick Ferbus, best friend of Saban’s Masked Rider. Paul’s puppetry and voice have been featured on Power Rangers Turbo, Power Rangers Zeo, and Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie feature film.

Life in Southeast Asia

Locally, Paul has added his talents in voice acting to programming featured on some of Southeast Asia’s most popular Kid’s TV shows like the Anime hit, One Piece, Masked Rider,Dan Doh!, YuGiOh, and many, many more. He’s voiced commercials for LEGO, Singapore Airlines, M1, Ikea, AIA Insurance, and literally dozens of others. In 2015 Paul headed up a team of artists and builders to create puppets and props for Legoland Malaysia's "Ninjago Realm of Shadows LIVE" stage production.
