Paweł Jarczewski (born on 4 February 1967 in Kalisz) – the President of the Board of Zakłady Azotowe "PUŁAWY" S.A. in Puławy, a graduate of Warsaw School of Economics, Foreign Trade Department, Master of Science in economics and organisation of foreign trade.[1]

Business background

He has been connected with the Nitrates Works in Puławy since 1992. From 2002 to 2006 he served as a Sales Director of the company. From 2006 to 2008 he worked as Development Director in CTL Logistics PLC. Since 2008 - the Chairman of the Board of Nitrates Factory in Puławy.[2] At present also the Vice President of Fertilizers Europe - the largest association of fertilisers' producers in Europe.[3][4] The Chairman of the Economic Committee of this organisation. A member of Lublin School of Technology Convention and Maria Curie-Skłodowska University Convention. He has been a Member of the Lubelskie Voivodeship Innovations Council for a couple of years now.

During his lead as a CEO, the Nitrates Factory in Puławy completed a major investment: Ammonia-Urea Oxygen Plant,[5] which increased the output capacity of urea by 270.000 tonnes per year and of AdBlue by 100.000 tonnes per year.[6] The company took over two enterprises from the sector: in 2011 Gdańskie Zakłady Nawozów Fosforowych "Fosfory" Sp. z o.o.[7] And in 2012 the company bought out an 85-percent share in chemical works Adipol-Azoty S.A.[8] The company has also started construction of a new fertilisers production line.

Private life

Born in Kalisz, but working and living in Puławy. Interested in the history of Europe in the 17th century, especially the military history of Sweden. Passionate about watches. A father of two daughters.
