Pedro López Galisteo (born 21 January 1995) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Real Betis as a goalkeeper.

Club career

Born in Mérida, López joined Real Betis' youth system in 2010, aged 15, after starting it out with local Mérida UD.[1] In October 2012, while still a junior, he was called-up to train with the first-team by coach Pepe Mel;[2] López returned to the Juvenil squad and made his senior debuts on 9 December, starting with the reserves in a 0–4 loss at Sevilla Atlético.[3]

After spending the whole 2013–14 campaign between the B-side and the youth setup, he made his first-team – and La Liga – debut on 11 May 2014, replacing injured Antonio Adán in the 84th minute of a 4–3 home success against Real Valladolid,[4] as the Andalusians were already relegated as dead last.
