Pedro Varela Geiss is a Spanish librarian, writer and Holocaust Denier. He is the owner of a book store in Barcelona which sells material related to Holocaust Denial and other conspiracy theories. He is also the former President of the Neo-Nazi group CEDADE, of which Leon Degrelle was part of.

Biography

Born on October 9, 1957, in Barcelona,[1] he became the President of CEDADE in 1978,[2] publishing Holocaust Denial material.[3] In 1992 he spent three months in prison in Austria for a Nazi speech he gave. After the end of CEDADE, he opened the book store Libreria Europa in Barcelona, from which he sells pro-nazi material to this day.[4] In 1998 he was convicted to five years in prison for allegedly justifying genocide, due to the Holocaust Denial material he sold in his store.[5] In 2010 he was again convicted to two years and nine months in prison for the felony of "disseminating genocidal ideals".[6] He was released from prison on March 8, 2012.[7] He went back to run his bookstore, which still remains open.

He declares himself a Catholic and Vegetarian[8]
