Pedro Vaz Marinheiro was a Portuguese nobleman.
Biography
Born in Portugal, Pedro Vaz was one of the first settlers of São Miguel, Azores Island.[1] Rich and powerful man, he was called Marinheiro, because he commanded ships many build on this island.[2] He was the father of Grimaneza Pires, who married in Azores to Estêvão Pires de Alpoim, notary in the island.[3]
Pedro Vaz Marinheiro died 7 May 1534.
