Samvardhana Motherson Peguform (SMP) is an automotive manufacturer headquartered in Bötzingen, Germany near Freiburg im Breisgau.
The company, originally named Peguform, repeatedly changed owners, with seven different owners since 1987.[2] In 2004, following a bankruptcy, the company was acquired by Cerberus. Since that time the company has been exempted from the chemical industry's collective agreement on wages, leading to mounting employee dissatisfaction in 2014.[1] In 2011 it was acquired by the Samvardhana Motherson Group[2] and was renamed Samvardhana Motherson Peguform.
