Pembroke is a settlement in inland Taranaki, in the western North Island of New Zealand. It is located about 5 km northwest of Stratford.[1][2]
The population of the Pembroke statistical area was 1203 in the 2006 Census, a decrease of 15 from 2001. The statistical area covers a large region to the west of Stratford, not just the settlement of Pembroke.[3]
Education
Pembroke School is a coeducational full primary (years 1–8) school with a decile rating of 6 and a roll of 43.[4]
