The Penghu Living Museum (PHLM; Chinese: 澎湖生活博物館; pinyin: Pēnghú Shēnghuó Bówùguǎn) is a museum about the customs and culture of Penghu in Magong City, Penghu County, Taiwan.[1]
History
It had been a long time that the people of Penghu wished to have a museum dedicated to the customs and culture of Penghu, and in 1998 a museum was decided to be built as part of the major construction project of the county. In 2001, the Taipei National University of the Arts was commissioned to do the preliminary study and to lay the foundation for the project launching. In 2003, the Penghu County Government prepared the budget for the design and construction of the museum, and the museum was finally opened on 3 April 2010.[1]
