Penketh High School is an secondary school which contains a sixth form, in Penketh, Warrington. It is a coed, non-denominational school for 11–18 year old children. The school has an partnership with Kwadeda High School in South Africa, who helped to produce another feature film called The Opportunity. This film was targeted at teenage audiences, to make them aware of HIV, drugs and other problems, that are high risk factors in South Africa. [1]
The film was premièred at Liverpool Football Club, and received notable recognition for the mass project, undertaken by the schools media director Mr J. Kay. This was along with Learning For Life teacher Miss Gibson. On 1 April 2013, the school converted to academy status.
