Pensions Management Institute is a UK professional association that provides support, training, professional qualifications and related services to its members and the pensions industry. The PMI says that it is not a lobbying organisation, but one that promotes discussion between government and private sector companies. It says that it promotes standards of conduct for its members and contributes to improving governance and management of pension schemes.[1]

PMI has a membership of over 5,000 pension-related professionals and trustees. According to PMI, the United Kingdom's pension sector holds an excess of 1 trillion pounds sterling.
