Peont (Hindi: प्योंत) is a village and a Panchayat at Jundla tehsil in Karnal district in the Indian state of Haryana. It comes under Chirao block. The village is located about 22 km from Karnal on Assandh road State Highway 12. It is well connected to Nissing vai Kaithal road 9 km & Gondar road 11 km.^{[1] [2]}

Peont is located at 29°39′11″N 76°51′36″E / 29.653°N 76.86°E.^[3] It has an average elevation of 253 metres (777 feet).

The village lies in Nardak, Khadir and Bangar area and It got 4 Ponds (johd) and two big draining rivers one flowing from north east and another flowing from north west and forming one dtrain which flows towards south.
