People's Car
People's Car usually refers to an affordable car for the working class but specifically the Volkswagen Beetle and subsequently the English translation of the German automaker Volkswagen's name.
However other cars are also tauted as people's cars especially inexpensive, mass-produced vehicle manufactured in Eastern bloc countries for their citizens. It may directly refer to:
- the Yugo
- the nickname of Tatra V570
- the nickname of the Tata Nano, a US$2,500 economy car by Indian carmaker Tata Motors
- the nickname of Soviet and Russian VAZ-111 Oka
- the nickname of the Russian TM 1131 Tula/Bear
But also:
- Citroën 2CV of France
