Pertti "Pepe" Willberg (formerly Toivo Pertti Uolevi Willberg,[1] born on 17 December 1946 in Turku) is a Finnish singer and songwriter. He started his musical career in the beginning of the 1960s playing the rhythm guitar in a Lauttasaari (Helsinki) based band called the Islanders. Since then he has performed e.g. as the leading singer of the bands Jormas and Pepe & Paradise. In addition to his solo career Pepe Willberg has also appeared with groups such as the Finntastic, Mestarit (the Masters), and Poptenorit (the Poptenors). His tenth solo album "Pepe & Saimaa" received a nomination for IMPALA's European Independent Album of the Year Award.[2]
