Pere Fume (whose real name is Perry Johnson) is a Canadian musician and former guitarist for Bootsauce.[1] He first met with Drew Ling and Sonny Greenwich, Jr. in future manager Steve Shipp's office. Johnson dropped his stage name, before joining Toronto band Fonzi. Perry Johnson then moved to Vancouver and formed the glam punk band the BTUs with singer Brent Coleman, bassist Stephan Tyrrell and drummer Cam Rowe. The BTUs performed in the Vancouver rock scene from 2002 to 2010. Perry Johnson was replaced by Marcel La Flure in 2005 and Cam Rowe was replaced by punk rock legendary drummer Randy Bowman of the Subhumans, the Enigmas and the Scramblers fame.
