PERRIN PARIS is a French leather accessories brand with shops in Paris, New York, Los Angeles and Hong Kong.[1][2][3]

History

Perrin Paris was founded by Berthe and Victor Rigaudy in Saint-Junien, France in 1893, the historic capital of French glove making.[2][3][4] In 1949 Victor's grandson, Raymond, took over the family business, and introduced several new techniques.[5]

In 1973, Henri Perrin, a graduate of the Ecole Française de Tannerie de Lyon, safeguarded the tradition inherited from generations past and initiated a subcontracting business with haute couture houses.[6] In 2006, Michel Perrin (Rigaudy’s great-grandson) and took helm of the brand and brought the operation back in-house. [2][3][7][8]

In 2009 Perrin Paris opened a boutique in Beverly Hills, followed by the New York location on Madison Avenue, at the historic Carlyle Hotel. The Paris flagship, located steps away from Place Vendôme, and the Hong Kong shop at the luxurious IFC Mall opened in 2015. The house’s main studio and design activity is based in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, France.
