Pershotravensk (Ukrainian: Першотравенськ) is a town in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (province) of Ukraine. Administratively, Pershotravensk is incorporated as the town of oblast significance. In 2013, the population was 29,019, down from 29,140 in 2001.[1] Until 1960 was known as a town of Shakhtarske.
