Pet Symmetry is an American power pop band from Chicago, Illinois.

History

Pet Symmetry was formed in 2012 by Erik Czaja and Marcus Nuccio, two members of the emo band Dowsing and Evan Thomas Weiss (who performs as Into It. Over It.)

They released their first EP, Two Songs About Cars. Two Songs With Long Titles. in May of 2013 via Asian Man Records.[1] They released another EP the same month, a split with Dikembe via Storm Chasers Records.[2]

On November 25, 2014 the band released another EP, a split with Slingshot Dakota via Soft Speak Records.[3]

In December of 2014, Suburbia Records released a 7" box set featuring a split with Pet Symmetry and The Saddest Landscape.[4]

On May 12, 2015, the band released their debut full-length album titled Pets Hounds via Asian Man Records.[5][6][7]
