Pete Rose (musician)

Pete Rose (born 1942) is an American recorder player and composer. He is the foremost interpreter of contemporary classical music for recorder. He is also one of the few recorder players who plays jazz on the instrument.

He has performed the music of Daniel Goode, Ryohei Hirose, Luciano Berio, and Benjamin Thorn.

Rose has also written a number of comprehensive articles documenting the use of the recorder in contemporary classical music.

He resides in Bridgewater, New Jersey where he also gives lessons to new and advancing recordists.
