Peter Andre: My Life is a fly on the wall reality television series featuring singer and television personality Peter Andre throughout his everyday life. The series began as Peter Andre: The Next Chapter following his divorce from model Katie Price. The series has been broadcast on ITV2 since 17 August 2009.[1] In July 2011, a spin-off series, entitled Peter Andre: Here 2 Help was broadcast, whilst the main series was given a major overhaul. In October 2011, the main series returned with the new title, Peter Andre: My Life, and a new opening theme. The format of the series, however, is essentially the same.

Pilot

The series began as a one-off special entitled Peter Andre: Going It Alone, which was broadcast on 17 August 2009 on ITV2. The show documented the events directly following Andre's split from Katie Price. The ninety-minute documentary earned one of ITV2's highest ever ratings, with an average of 1.7 million viewers, and a peak of 1.9 million, with a further 300k watching a re-run on ITV2 +1.[2] Following the success of the episode, Andre stated that a full series had been commissioned and was slated to air in November 2009.

Here 2 Help

During his time off from recording The Next Chapter, and whilst the series was receiving a major overhaul, Andre recorded a special six-part series entitled Here 2 Help, in which he visited six different locations in the United Kingdom and helped a certain group of people in one way or another to achieve a better life. The series was broadcast during July and August 2011. The series contained six episodes.

My Life

The fifth series of The Next Chapter received a complete overhaul, being re-titled My Life and receiving new opening titles and theme. The series was commissioned by ITV2 in June 2011, and was broadcast during October and December 2011. The series contained eight episodes. The second series of "My Life" (sixth in the franchise) began broadcasting on 11 April 2012 and the third series of "My Life" (seventh in the franchise) began broadcasting on 5 December 2012.

Series 1 (2011) (fifth overall series)

Series 2 (2012) (sixth overall series)

Series 3 (2012–13) (seventh overall series)

Episode three was originally due to be aired on 19 December 2012, but due to the death of Andre's brother, Andrew, was postponed and broadcast a week later on 27 December. Thus, episodes four and five were also broadcast a week late.

Series 4 (2013) (eighth overall series)

This was the fourth series of My Life and the eighth series in the franchise. It began in early April and concluded in late May (4 April – 23 May).

Series 5 (2013) (ninth overall series)

It was confirmed that this series would be the last ever of Peter Andre reality programmes on ITV2. It began on 30 September 2013, and will contain 11 final episodes.

The series took a four-week hiatus from 11 November 2013, reasons for it are yet to be revealed. However the series will continue from 9 December 2013 for its final three episodes.
