Peter Winston founded ICS originally as a consulting firm offering training courses for the X Window System.[1] ICS has since grown to become the largest independent supplier of professional services, training and add-on products for the Qt cross-platform framework and MeeGo.[2] ICS is a Qt Software Preferred Training and Consulting Partner in North America and has been recognized by Nokia as the only North American based Forum Nokia Consulting and Training partner.[3] In 2006, Winston recognized a unique opportunity and purchased Project.net[4] to take advantage of ICS's expertise in user interface design.

Awards

In 1992, Peter Winston was awarded Inc. Magazine's New England Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Award.[5]
