Peter Ross Awdry Gray was a judge of the Federal Court of Australia who served from 17 May 1984 until 17 May 17 2013.[1] Justice Gray is also a Judge of the Industrial Relations Court of Australia and a Presidential Member of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. He is an Adjunct Professor at Deakin University.
Justice Gray was appointed to the Federal Court by the Hawke Government in 1983. Prior to his appointment he had close links to left-wing trade unions in Victoria.
In 2013 he retired after 29 years as a judge specialized in labour laws.[2]
