Peter J. Stang
Peter John Stang (born 1941) is an American chemist. He is a professor of chemistry at the University of Utah and the editor of the Journal of the American Chemical Society since 2002.
Stang holds a B.S. from DePaul University and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences. He was editor-in-chief of the Journal of Organic Chemistry from 2000 to 2001.
