Peter Anthony Rodger (born 6 April 1965) is a British filmmaker and photographer. He is known for his 2009 documentary film Oh My God, as well as his work as a second unit director on The Hunger Games (2012). Rodger has won a number of awards, including from the Houston International Film Festival, the Chicago International Film Festival, the Telly Awards, the Mobius Awards, and the US International Film and Video Festival.[2]

Personal life

Rodger is based in the United States and is the son of British photographer George Rodger.[3]

Rodger married Li-Chin, a Malaysian Chinese research assistant for a film company. They had two children, Elliot and Georgia.[4][5] After they divorced, Rodger married Moroccan actress Soumaya Akaaboune and they had a son.

Rodger's eldest son, Elliot, carried out the 2014 Isla Vista killings, killing six people and then himself on May 23, 2014.[6]
