Peter Thoeny

Peter Thoeny is the founder of the project TWiki (an opensource Enterprise wiki), and is leading the project since 1998. In 2007 he co-founded TWIKI.NET (now Twiki, Inc.) together with Rod Beckstrom, a company that provides collaborative solutions and commercial support around TWiki. In October 2008, Twiki, Inc. assumed full control over the TWiki project[1] while nearly all of the remainder of the developer community[2][3] forked off to join the Foswiki project.[4]

He is the co-author of the book Wikis for Dummies ISBN 0-470-04399-7.

He was born in Switzerland, lived in Japan for 8 years, and has now settled in San Jose, Silicon Valley.
