Pieter van der Borcht
- Not to be confused with Pieter van der Borcht the Elder.
Pieter van der Borcht (1604–1631), was a Flemish painter and draftsman.
Biography
Van der Borcht was born and died in Brussels, according to Cornelis de Bie's work on painters called Het Gulden Cabinet. Also according to de Bie, he first painted figures, then switched to landscapes.[1] According to the RKD one landscape by him is signed "Vborcht", and another is documented as signed "Peeter van der Borcht van Brussel in Ausborch. 1615".[2]
