Pharaquta (Aymara phara dry,[2] quta lake,[3] "dry lake", hispanicized spelling Paracota) is a lake in Peru located in the Puno Region, Puno Province, Pichacani District.[4] It is situated at a height of about 4,512 metres (14,803 ft). Pharaquta lies southeast of the larger lake Jukumarini.
