Pheasant shooting
Pheasant shooting is the sport of game shooting and is most popular in the United Kingdom but is practiced in other parts of the world. Shooting of game birds is carried out using a shotgun, most often 12 and 20 bore or a .410, often on land managed by a gamekeeper.
Usually seen as a sport practiced by the wealthy, the sport is popular across all walks of life. The pheasant shooting season in the UK runs 1 October to 1 February.[1] Game shooting is defined in law by the Game Act of 1831
